The Wagoneer S, the world's first "global battery-electric vehicle," will be released in the fall of 2024. That information was released earlier this year by Stellantis of North America.

This electric vehicle (EV) is a follow-up to the Wagoner S concept car that was initially shown off in 2022. There is only one photograph that has been made public by the manufacturer, and it reveals that the front end has many of the same design cues as the concept that was initially presented over two years ago. So far the manufacturer is keeping it under wraps

Despite the fact that the electric SUV shares its name with the king-size, gas-guzzling Wagoneer and even bigger Grand Wagoneer, it can be deducted that the S in its name can theoretically be understood as "small." This is because the original idea depicts a more compact footprint and a curvier body than its larger, boxier siblings.

Although it is smaller, the letter S should not give the impression that it is slow. According to Jeep, the electric powertrain of the Wagoneer S is capable of producing 600 horsepower and can propel the Jeep to a 0-60 mph pace of approximately 3.5 seconds, which is approximately 0.3 seconds faster than the Tesla Model X.

The SUV manufacturer Jeep has not given any information regarding the range or battery capacity of the Wagoneer S; nevertheless, the company has stated that the Wagoneer S would feature the brand's characteristic "4xe capability" along with all-terrain management.

Jeep has announced that the Jeep Wagoneer S will be available for purchase in the United States sometime in fall 2024
